We work in sectors where data handling is a condition of doing business, so it would be odd not to be clear about our own. This page is written to be read, not to be defended in court.

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, company, work email and message. There is nothing else — no account, no profile built up over visits.
What we deliberately do not do
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no cookie wall, no newsletter list you have to escape from. We do not sell or share your details with anyone, and we do not buy contact data either.
Where it is stored and who can read it
Your message goes to the two of us and no one else. It is stored in our own mailbox inside the EU. There is no sales team, no CRM full of prospects, no assistant reading along.
How long we keep it
If a conversation does not lead anywhere, we delete your message within twelve months. If it becomes a project, the correspondence lives as long as the assignment plus the period our accountant requires.
Client data during a project
We work under the GDPR and, for Brazilian entities, the LGPD. Concretely: data stays in the region you require, we take the least access that lets us do the work, we log who touched what, and your data is never used to train a model — ours or anyone else’s. A processing agreement and an NDA are signed before we see a production system, not after.
Sub-processors and AI providers
Where an assignment uses a cloud or model provider, you approve which one during the design phase, in writing, together with the region it runs in. We build so that provider can be swapped later, which is also why none of them get to keep your data.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. One email is enough and we answer within a week. If we ever cannot, we say why.
Company registration
Marrod is being formally registered in the Netherlands. KVK number, VAT number and the registered legal entity will be published here the moment they exist — until then, this page is the commitment and the founders are personally accountable for it.
